Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next position?
We are working with a successful residential Contractor looking to expand there team due to expansion. Ideally you will have experience working on JCT contracts and running projects from inception through to completion and client handover.
You will be responsible for two residential developments, ranging from traditional build housing to RC Frame apartments.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, the technical team, and contractors to ensure cost-effective planning and execution of residential developments.
- Utilise your expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reports.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a residential contractor.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A results-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Salary - up to £85,000 plus £5,000 car allowance & discretionary bonus
