What does a Project Manager do in the property and real estate industry?

Project managers are critical in ensuring successful outcomes for any construction, real estate, or development project. They are responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that meet stakeholders’ set objectives and expectations.

The Project Manager is the central point of contact between the team, stakeholders, and clients. They are in charge of defining the project scope, timeline, and budget and ensuring these are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. They also allocate resources, manage risks, and communicate with all parties involved in the project to ensure progress is being made.

A competent project manager must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills and technical abilities. They must establish rapport with relevant stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and other experts. Additionally, they must be able to negotiate and settle issues in a calm, composed manner.
