How will ESG financially impact the Living sector?

In partnership with Watkin Jones and Carbon Intelligence (part of Accenture)

The ‘Living’ sector is quickly being recognised as having the fastest growing asset classes within real estate and the need for a focus on sustainability is no longer a ‘nice to have’, but recognised as business critical. However, becoming ESG compliant is an increasingly complex operation.

You have to address the demands of your building tenants to maintain an environmentally responsible place to live that promotes wellbeing and reduces energy costs. At the same time investors expect auditable proof that action is being taken to improve the ESG credentials of a portfolio.

deverellsmith and Watkin Jones have partnered to host ‘How will ESG financially impact the Living sector?’ as part of the ds connect event series, which aims to provide knowledge platforms on subjects which impact specific verticals of the property lifecycle.

The event will hear from Carbon Intelligence (part of Accenture) Senior Account Lead and ESG expert, Charlie Twyman, who will share his experience on supporting clients to develop net zero strategies and drive meaningful decarbonisation. Other speakers include Tony Garner (Development Director) from Watkin Jones and deverellsmith.

The session will cover:

  • Key pillars to a credible, strategic net zero roadmap

  • Frameworks to help you successfully implement sustainability initiatives across your business

  • Tips on how to get stakeholders fully engaged in your sustainability strategy

  • How do you improve the performance of your standing assets?

We’re delighted to welcome attendees to The Brasserie of Light in Selfridges (Oxford Street) on Thursday 17th November, from 08:00AM – 10:00AM. The event is limited to 24 capacity – submit your interest by completing the form below.
