Do you want to work for an award-winning investor, developer and operator of UK Real Estate?

Our client is currently building out a commercial real estate portfolio aggregation strategy that will see the acquisition of 5-10 sites in England over the next 12 months within this strategy alone.

This opportunity would suit someone who wants to progress and develop within a dynamic team but also thrives on the opportunity to work autonomously.

The role

  • Reporting directly to the founder, the primary focus of the role will be in the design, planning, project coordination and branding of existing and future projects.
  • Design development - working with a large and experienced professional team in advancing local, relevant, sustainable and commercially viable projects.
  • Attending weekly project design meetings and acting as a client to the wider professional team, while coordinating workstreams including architecture, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering and branding from feasibility study through to practical completion.
  • Engaging with a wide range of local stakeholders from security professionals to neighbouring residents and businesses, adapting and evolving our plans to ensure we hold significant community support for any project.
  • Interacting with investors, banks and accountants in project and cost reporting as well as managing each projects' funding and expenditure needs through the development cycle.
  • Working closely with cost consultants, contractors and project managers to ensure commercially viable project development is advanced from feasibility through to practical completion.
  • Working with the investment team in reviewing early-stage projects (pre acquisition) and advising and analysing key development risks and opportunities for consideration by our investment committee.

Requirements

  • For the right candidate there is also the potential for the role to progress more broadly to have wider involvement in investment and financing.
  • Ambitious, and affable with a strong commercial acumen, work ethic and desire to learn.
  • High level of personal engagement with design and architecture and a desire to combine this with commercial acumen to develop high quality, design led and forward looking buildings.
  • Past experience being involved in the development process whether as a consultant (architect / PM / surveyor) or a developer is required along with a strong attention to detail and an ability to take ownership over specific projects and workstreams.
  • Whilst the role will be based in Central London, you must be willing to travel.

We work as one

The key to growth is in our differences, not similarities. Alongside our partners, building a diverse, inclusive, and equal environment is at our core: everyone is made to feel welcome and encouraged to be their authentic self. Respect isn't an opt-in, it's the only way forward.
