Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Block Manager. As a Block Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and compliant with all relevant regulations. Your duties will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of residential and commercial properties, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning
  • Managing budgets and financial records for the properties, ensuring that all expenses are accurately recorded and reported
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within budget
  • Ensuring that all properties are compliant with relevant health and safety regulations and other legal requirements
  • Responding to enquiries and complaints from tenants and leaseholders, and taking appropriate action to resolve any issues
  • Conducting regular inspections of the properties, and ensuring that any necessary repairs or maintenance work is carried out promptly
  • Preparing and delivering regular reports to clients and stakeholders, summarizing key performance indicators and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Providing advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders on property management issues
  • Attending meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other property professionals as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Block Manager or similar role
  • A good understanding of property management regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
  • Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office
  • A full UK driving license
