Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Block Manager. As a Block Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and compliant with all relevant regulations. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of residential and commercial properties, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning
- Managing budgets and financial records for the properties, ensuring that all expenses are accurately recorded and reported
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within budget
- Ensuring that all properties are compliant with relevant health and safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Responding to enquiries and complaints from tenants and leaseholders, and taking appropriate action to resolve any issues
- Conducting regular inspections of the properties, and ensuring that any necessary repairs or maintenance work is carried out promptly
- Preparing and delivering regular reports to clients and stakeholders, summarizing key performance indicators and highlighting areas for improvement
- Providing advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders on property management issues
- Attending meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other property professionals as required
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Block Manager or similar role
- A good understanding of property management regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
- Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office
- A full UK driving license
