Development Manager

The role

  • Support the lead on the negotiation of legal documentation with our partners and ensure compliance throughout the development. Legal documents will include land assembly, development management agreements, JV agreements and funding partners and management and maintenance of legal diary.
  • Support as required the preparation of the Pre-Submission Planning Stack Pack, Planning Approval Stack Pack and Pre-Commencement Stack Pack.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and negotiation of Financial Viability Assessments to support planning applications in line with the strategy prepared in conjunction with the Senior/ Planning Manager.
  • Support the regular reviews with the land team development opportunities under investigation, prepare and provide support and assistance with any necessary development advice including risk and opportunity analysis.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years working in a front end DM role for a developer.
  • Taken 2 - 3 projects through the planning process.
  • Advantageous alternative asset class experience.
  • MRICS or MRTPI Qualified preferred.
