DIRECTOR OF BUILDING SURVEYING

OXFORD

£85,000 + CAR ALLOWANCE + BENEFITS + BONUS

I'm pleased to be working in partnership with a world-renowned, market-leading PropCo, who seek the addition of an experienced hire to spearhead the growth of their Building Surveying presence in the Oxford area.

This is a hugely unique and massively exciting opportunity. On offer is an impressive pipeline of work, the backing of one of the best brands in the market, alongside full autonomy to grow the service line however the successful applicant deems best.

Alongside leading the Building Surveying team and actively business developing external and internal clients, you'll also be undertaking professional and project work for a combination of private investment companies, institutions and funds.

THE ROLE:

  • To assist in the successful implementation and delivery of professional and contract building surveying
  • Building surveys for Investment or occupational purposes.
  • Contract Administration
  • Preparation of specifications and schedules of work.
  • Drafting of Standard Contract forms.
  • Defect analysis.
  • Preparation of Schedule of Dilapidations and negotiating on behalf of Landlord & Tenant.
  • Preparation of Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
  • Technical review of tenant works for the purposes of licenses to alter.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful candidate will be a qualified member of the RICS, and have a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience across the commercial sector. Alongside strong client-facing skills, a history of delivering workload in a timely manner to high standards is of paramount importance.
