Finance Manager (12 month FTC)

Are you interested in joining a dynamic reputable real estate investment company based in the heart of the West End? We are working with a client exclusively seeking a qualified Finance Manager their team as maternity cover for 12 months.

Due to the small nature of the finance function, you will have broad exposure in the position, including the following duties:

• Review of quarterly reports produced and annual accounts internally and externally across the various regions.
• Oversight of budgets for the business including variance analysis.
• Present key results to senior stakeholders in management meetings.
• Prepare historic and predicted cashflows, recommending any necessary distributions.
• Provide detailed reports including reviews of VAT and tax returns for European regions.
• Main point for any audit related enquiries.
• Handling bank loan compliance and covenant calculations, ensuring compliance with deadlines.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well organised and established real estate business with a diverse real estate investment portfolio. The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) with relevant UK real estate exposure.
• Residential real estate experience would be preferable but not essential.
• Strong experience dealing with external accountants in various jurisdictions would be preferable.
• You will need to be able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders with the company.
• Advanced Excel skills is a pre-requisite for this position.
• Ability to work within a small finance team to strict deadlines.

The role is for at least 12 months as a maternity cover, this could be slightly longer. The client is able to offer the following:

• Competitive salary (up to £65,000)
• Hybrid working 1 day per week (typically Fridays)
• Exposure to senior stakeholders within an experienced investment team.
