Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our client's brand new Build to Rent scheme in Edinburgh. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our client's newest development, ensuring its operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Build to Rent scheme, including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and financial management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve occupancy goals, enhance resident experience, and maximise revenue.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of leasing consultants, property managers, maintenance technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a vibrant community atmosphere through resident engagement activities, events, and amenities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Level 6 or equivalent
- Experience in property management, preferably in the Build to Rent or PBSA sectors
- Proven track record of leadership and team management in a fast-paced environment.
