Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our client's brand new Build to Rent scheme in Edinburgh. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our client's newest development, ensuring its operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Build to Rent scheme, including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and financial management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve occupancy goals, enhance resident experience, and maximise revenue.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of leasing consultants, property managers, maintenance technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a vibrant community atmosphere through resident engagement activities, events, and amenities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Level 6 or equivalent
  • Experience in property management, preferably in the Build to Rent or PBSA sectors
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management in a fast-paced environment.
