Job description

Our client: a boutique, family-run investment agency is seeking a Head of Build to Rent to join their dynamic and growing investment agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts, excellent industry experience, and an entrepreneurial attitude to help drive the growth of the build to rent business. The role will allow you great exposure and responsibility, in a supportive environment, and with an extremely incentivising commission scheme on top of the salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth of the Build to Rent business, working closely with the senior management team to provide expert guidance and support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the build to rent industry, including investors, developers, contractors, and local authorities
  • Provide forward funding advice to clients, ensuring that all deals are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Identify and evaluate new build to rent opportunities, and provide due diligence advice to ensure that investments are made in high-quality assets
  • Work closely with the development and construction teams to provide guidance and support to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure that the company is adhering to all relevant regulations and standards, and provide guidance to implement best practices to maintain the highest level of compliance

  • You have a strong network of contacts in the BTR industry, proven experience in forward funding, with a track record of success in providing expert advice and guidance?
  • Excellent industry knowledge and understanding of the build to rent sector, with a deep understanding of the key trends and challenges.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyse and evaluate investment opportunities
  • Relevant professional qualifications and industry certifications, such as a degree in property, real estate, or finance, are highly desirable.
