deverellsmith have partnered with a dynamic and innovative new homes developer, to find a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team as the Head of Customer Service.

The Company:

Our client are a renowned property development company known for their commitment to innovation and excellence, specialising in creating high-quality residential and commercial properties across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Birmingham & Oxfordshire.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the customer service department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to homeowners throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, construction, and design, to address customer concerns and improve overall customer experience.
  • Analyse customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve customer service performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing customer service team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

The Person:

  • You will have 5+ years experience leading a Customer Care team within the world of residential development
  • You will have an excellent understanding of defects and contractor management
  • You will be a strong people leader with experience recruiting & training as you will need to grow the team
  • You will have a solid ability to create and manage budgets - ensuring the profitability of your team
  • You must be willing to drive as the role involves significant travel
