Are you working in AST property management interested in working for a developer?

Are you based in North West London and have access to your own car?

My client, a developer in Harrow, is looking for an AST property manager to look after their portfolio of properties. This is a client side opportunity as they own the 100 properties that they have developed themselves. Working alongside the Block Manager, Operations manager and administrator, you would have complete autonomy of the role. They are looking for someone who is proactive and experienced and in return offer a great package

Offers

  • £40,000 - £50,000 salary
  • Mileage for inspections - 45p per mile
  • 20 days holidays + bank holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Monday to Friday 09.00 - 18.00


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administrating new tenancy agreements or tenancy extensions/renewals
  • Coordinating with contractors regarding maintenance and/or repair requirements
  • Managing tenancy deposits, and discussing and resolving rental arear queries
  • Processing eviction requests in accordance with the necessary legal requirements
  • Ensuring all properties meet current regulatory health and safety standards
  • Liaising with tenants to ensure all their needs are met
  • Booking and conducting property inspections
  • Facilitating tenant's on moving in day (check in) and moving out/contract end date (check out) procedures
  • Carrying out Property Inventories and Checkouts reports
  • Updating and managing data in Arthur
  • Registering/updating utility companies and councils of change of tenants etc.
  • Chasing rent arrears for your own portfolio
  • Filling CCJs where applicable
  • Liaising with solicitors
  • Filling out and submitting S21 & S8 documentation
  • Have accountability within your portfolio

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Property Management, Property Inventories or Customer facing administrative roles
  • Good stable track record
  • Essential - Full UK driving license
  • Must be located within easy travel distance of Harrow on the Hill
  • Good Tenant / Client facing skills
  • Strong IT Skills (Microsoft Packages)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Can work independently
  • Understands maintenance repairs and management and can effectively organise repairs independently
  • Good team player and excellent communicator
