Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the PBSA scheme in Hammersmith. You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, addressing repair needs promptly, and upholding the overall integrity of our property. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with occasional project work, such as renovations or upgrades, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably within a property management or similar environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to property maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
