Job Title: Management Accountant - July Start Date
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Central London

Company Overview

We are representing one of the fastest-growing Build-to-Rent (BTR) operators in Europe located in central London in their search for a Management Accountant. The company manages a diverse portfolio of assets for leading global institutional clients, specialising in residential properties of varying sizes, locations, and qualities, with a particular expertise in large-scale BTR projects. These projects often include substantial commercial estates that foster vibrant communities with a strong sense of place and character.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

- Management and financial reporting for institutional client
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenses are aligned with budgetary constraints.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including timely submission of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalists with RE experience)
- Real Estate experience ideal
- Strong P&L and balance sheet exposure
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- MRI knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
