Regional Operations Manager - South West - 12mth FTC


Our client, a rapidly expanding Build to Rent owner, is seeking a highly organised and experienced Regional Operations Manager - South West to join their team. As the Head of Region, you will work closely with the Operations Director, with responsibility for both the company's customers (tenants) and the company's property as an asset. You will be based in the South West with close proximity to Bristol/Gloucester.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer propositions and experiences which make renting through this company a fantastic experience
  • Ensure a good programme of pro and reactive maintenance for the property portfolio
  • Manage the performance of agents or property managers on site
  • Maintain and develop a network of colleagues within and outside of the company
  • Participate in the full breadth of activities of a fast-paced start-up company, from marketing to participating in the future strategy and growth of this company
  • Help to develop and execute the customer offering to ensure the company always treats its customers with respect, fairness, and transparency, and builds a reputation
  • Manage risk by ensuring the company operates in a tightly governed manner, following three lines of defence

Requirements

  • Extensive property management experience within Build to Rent/Private Rented Sector
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Hands-on attitude to helping build and develop the company's offering
  • Ability to work with and oversee the activities of managing agents
  • Gravitas and ability to influence senior company executives and credibly participate in strategic discussions
  • An ability to engage with others at all levels easily through excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong risk awareness to lead the assessment and mitigation/management of financial, operational, reputation and other risks inherent in company operations
  • General execution e-corporate finance, due diligence, legal documentation is experience is desirable but not essential
