Client Side - Senior Property Manager - Single Family Housing - Reading - £45,000+

deverellsmith are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Manager to lead a dedicated team within Single Family Housing. As the Senior Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence across all facets of property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Property Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to deliver best-in-class customer service to all residents.
  • Develop and oversee effective operational processes to streamline day-to-day property management activities and drive efficiencies.
  • Identify training and best practice requirements, implementing new methods of working as needed to enhance team performance.
  • Organise and manage check-in, check-out, inspections, unit turn processes, and deposit releases efficiently.
  • Log defects, repairs, and maintenance issues onto the database, assigning them to relevant parties/contractors for prompt resolution.
  • Take ownership of resolving and providing support for any incidents or issues.
  • Ensure properties are compliant with legislation and manage risks effectively.
  • Manage monthly credit control and arrears, issuing relevant notices as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute launch events and engage with customers and the community regularly.
  • Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for senior management and investors.

  • Proven experience in property management leadership.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management processes, legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies and implement best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and property management software.
