Position:
Senior Site Manager, No.1 on site

Location:
Tandridge, Surrey

About the Role:
As the No.1 Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding traditional build units, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of the construction project from inception to completion.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor to achieve project milestones and targets.
  • Implement robust site management procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and building regulations.
  • Oversee all aspects of site operations including programming, procurement, cost control, and resource management.
  • Liaise closely with the project team, consultants, and clients to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice on-site.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in site management within the residential construction sector, with a proven track record of delivering traditional build projects to a high standard.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction methods, processes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
