Job Title: Trainee Recruitment Consultant - New Homes Sector

Location: London

Salary: £26,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission and 10% bonus

Job Summary: As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in the New Homes Sector, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and placing candidates within the rapidly growing new homes industry. You will work closely with senior recruitment consultants to learn the ropes of the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to negotiating offers and closing deals. Your goal will be to build a strong network of candidates and clients, and ultimately achieve targets and contribute to the overall success of the recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviewing to assess their suitability for roles within the new homes sector
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients, providing excellent customer service
  • Create and post job advertisements to attract potential candidates
  • Assist with the coordination of interviews, assessments, and reference checks
  • Provide feedback and advice to candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Negotiate offers and contracts on behalf of clients and candidates
  • Collaborate with senior recruitment consultants to achieve targets and contribute to team goals
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market knowledge related to the new homes sector
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in the recruitment database

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with recruitment databases or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of the new homes sector or related industries is desirable but not essential
