What was the company?
Founded in the UK in 1855, Savills is one of the world's leading property agents. Their experience and expertise spans the globe, with 600 offices across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. Their integrity, honesty and professionalism is what gives their clients, colleagues, investors and business partners the confidence to work with them.
What was the situation?
The head of admin was departing on maternity leave, so it was necessary for someone to step up to cover them. Additionally, as the team was busy the client needed another two permanent candidates to support them.
What was the challenges?
A big challenge was individuals dropping out during the search. Not only this but the short timeframe also imposed a challenge as the client needed a quick turnaround. Additionally figuring out how each candidate would get on with one another was difficult as it was essential to consider the team dynamics.
What was the methodology?
To find the ideal candidate for the client, 8 CVs were sent out throughout the process. Anna carried out networking, used job boards and referrals during her search. Platforms such as Reed and LinkedIn were used.
What was the outcome?
1 candidate was offered the role after the initial interview and a replacement candidate was found within 24 hours. This left a happy client, and a happy candidate. It is a growing team so it leaves opportunity for the candidate covering maternity leave to stay and progress internally.
