deverellsmith, global real estate search firm, today announced the promotion of Nick Hammond to Head of Build to Rent.
In this new role, Nick will lead the expansion of deverellsmith’s build to rent strategy. He will have primary responsibility for the group’s activity, continuing to grow the talent advisory business across the UK and European markets. He will also work closely with the US teams to expand the businesses transatlantic multifamily offering.

Nick has over 5 years’ experience in the build to rent industry; his team offers recruitment and strategic consultancy to clients across the management, development and investment disciplines within the UK and Europe.
He received First Class Honours in B.A. Business Management and The University of Manchester. Nick is a member of the IRPM and host of ‘A new lease of life’ an audio series which holds exclusive and thought-provoking interviews with professionals of the build to rent industry.
