Ecologi is a platform which helps individuals and businesses compensate carbon footprint through tree planting and funding the world’s best climate crisis solutions. Reducing our carbon footprint is entirely necessary, but the transition of change is far slower than the time we have remaining.
One of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C, is to plant trees. They are also crucial to preventing ecological collapse.
As well as subscribing monthly to Ecologi – which will combat Co2 emissions released by the business – we’ve pledged to plant 100 trees in celebration of each employee’s birthday. We’ve also opted to ditch the Christmas cards this year, and plant trees instead!
Ecologi’s tree planting partner The Eden Reforestation Projects plant millions of trees around the world each month, they are currently supporting the initiatives incredible work in Madagascar.
deverellsmith appointed Sarah Mcloughlin, Development & Construction Consultant, as the company’s Ambassador for Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability earlier this year, to drive the company forward in terms of becoming more climate positive.
