A growing real estate investment and management firm with a European footprint is seeking a motivated Credit Controller to join its London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your finance career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on commercial and residential property portfolios, including hotel assets.

The Role

You will support the credit control team in managing the collection of rent payments from hotel tenants. Working closely with the Senior Credit Controller and wider finance and property management teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate records, timely payment chasing, and clean reconciliations.

This position offers excellent exposure to commercial leases and the operations of a dynamic, growing property business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting rent from hotel tenants

  • Issue rent demands, reminders, and account statements

  • Follow up on overdue payments via phone and email

  • Maintain internal systems with notes, communications, and payment plans

  • Support account reconciliations and payment allocations

  • Help prepare arrears reports and escalate risk cases when necessary

  • Collaborate with property management and finance colleagues

About You:

We're looking for someone proactive, numerically confident, and eager to grow in a high-performing team.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Some prior experience in credit control or accounts receivable

  • Exposure to commercial property or hospitality sectors

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • A keen eye for accuracy and detail

  • Ability to manage your own time and priorities effectively

Bonus skills (not essential):

  • Experience with Yardi or similar accounting systems

  • Knowledge of lease compliance, service charges, or debt recovery processes
