About the opportunity
A rapidly expanding property business is seeking a Junior Client Accountant to join their busy Client Accounts team. Key responsibilities
- Allocate incoming cashflows and manage suspense accounts using Reapit and 360 systems
- Raise property management and third-party invoices with accuracy
- Process new deals and establish financial schedules
- Handle tenancy deposit refunds and reconcile supplier statements
- Support client queries professionally and distribute landlord statements
- Assist with rent collection processes and landlord updates
- Process tenancy changes and ensure compliance with Non-Resident Landlord Scheme
- Maintain accurate financial data and attend cross-departmental meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent basic accounts experience (AP/AR)
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation
- Strong attention to detail with analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated with a solution-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills including professional telephone manner
- Organised and adaptable, working effectively independently and within teams
- Familiarity with Reapit software would be advantageous but not essential
