We are pleased to announce a fantastic vacancy for a motivated, professional, and dynamic Property Manager seeking to step into a Team Leader role within our reputable residential lettings division. This position offers a unique chance to lead a dedicated team while maintaining direct management of a select property portfolio, supported by an experienced Manager and Assistant Manager.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals currently managing small teams in property management or seasoned Property Managers aspiring to advance into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated portfolio of properties, overseeing maintenance coordination, tenant and landlord communications, and contractor liaising.
- Process invoices and provide timely updates to clients and tenants.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, delivering effective resolutions and guidance.
- Monitor team workloads, offering hands-on support to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, cultivating strong relationships with clients and tenants.
- Oversee team performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to strengthen relationships with existing contractors and expand the approved contractor network.
- Assist with organizing team events and internal initiatives to promote team engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in property management.
- Prior leadership or senior-level experience is highly desirable.
- ARLA Propertymark qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with effective time management.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and IT systems.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- OTE: Up to £35,000 per annum, including bonuses and year-end profit sharing.
- Ongoing professional development and training.
- Support for achieving relevant industry qualifications, with costs covered.
Hours & Hybrid Working:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
- Initial training held at our Head Office in Chelmsford.
- Post-probation, flexible hybrid working arrangements combining home and office-based work.
