An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join a well-regarded property management team, taking the lead on a diverse and high-profile London estate.
Based in a modern office in SE17, this individual will have full responsibility for overseeing a substantial residential portfolio comprising 600 homes across multiple blocks, with additional amenity space. The position requires a confident, client-focused professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service to residents and stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This is not your average property management role. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the future of the estate, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while driving service improvements, financial performance, and client satisfaction. They will also oversee and mentor an on-site team including property managers, a maintenance operative, and a lettings/renewals coordinator, ensuring standards remain consistently high across the board.
Key Responsibilities
Building strong, positive relationships with residents, ensuring a professional and friendly service at all times.
Leading on inspections, compliance, maintenance, refurbishments, and service charge budgets.
Ensuring financial accuracy, managing arrears, and supporting client reporting.
Driving service improvements and seeking opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
Acting as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and attending weekly on-site meetings.
Managing Section 20 processes, insurance renewals, rent reviews, and legal notices where required.
Leading, supporting, and developing the on-site team, ensuring training, appraisals, and professional development are in place.
Overseeing health and safety, ensuring compliance and safe working practices at all times.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in a client-facing property management role.
Previous experience managing and developing a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional qualifications (MARLA, MIRPM or AssocRICS) are highly desirable.
Confident, organised, and proactive with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
A natural leader who can influence, motivate, and maintain strong working relationships.
Commercially aware with a focus on delivering value for both residents and clients.
