Senior Property Manager - Near Eelephant and Castle Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus Mondy-Friday - 09:00 - 17:30An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join a well-regarded property management team, taking the lead on a diverse and high-profile London estate.Based in a modern office in SE17, this individual will have full responsibility for overseeing a substantial residential portfolio comprising 600 homes across multiple blocks, with additional amenity space. The position requires a confident, client-focused professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service to residents and stakeholders.<h3>The Opportunity</h3>This is not your average property management role. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the future of the estate, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while driving service improvements, financial performance, and client satisfaction. They will also oversee and mentor an on-site team including property managers, a maintenance operative, and a lettings/renewals coordinator, ensuring standards remain consistently high across the board.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Building strong, positive relationships with residents, ensuring a professional and friendly service at all times.</li><li>Leading on inspections, compliance, maintenance, refurbishments, and service charge budgets.</li><li>Ensuring financial accuracy, managing arrears, and supporting client reporting.</li><li>Driving service improvements and seeking opportunities for efficiency and innovation.</li><li>Acting as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and attending weekly on-site meetings.</li><li>Managing Section 20 processes, insurance renewals, rent reviews, and legal notices where required.</li><li>Leading, supporting, and developing the on-site team, ensuring training, appraisals, and professional development are in place.</li><li>Overseeing health and safety, ensuring compliance and safe working practices at all times.</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in a client-facing property management role.</li><li>Previous experience managing and developing a team.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Professional qualifications (MARLA, MIRPM or AssocRICS) are highly desirable.</li><li>Confident, organised, and proactive with the ability to balance multiple priorities.</li><li>A natural leader who can influence, motivate, and maintain strong working relationships.</li><li>Commercially aware with a focus on delivering value for both residents and clients.</li></ul>
