Are you an organised and proactive property administrator looking to take the next step in your career?
We're seeking a Property Administrator to support the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of over 100 residential and commercial properties. This is a key role that blends operational oversight with financial admin - perfect for someone who's detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident liaising with agencies and tenants alike.
About the Role
In this fast-paced and varied position, you'll:
Manage the administration with external agencies of a mixed-use property portfolio (residential and commercial).
Act as the main point of contact for lettings agents regarding maintenance, rent queries, check-ins, and check-outs.
Monitor rental income and ensure all payments are received on time, following up on arrears where necessary.
Maintain and update the internal database, tracking key information such as rent review dates, insurance details, and tenancy deposits.
Coordinate maintenance works and resolve tenant queries or complaints efficiently.
Oversee tenancy renewals and end-of-tenancy processes, ensuring rental values remain competitive.
Reconcile monthly tenancy statements with bank statements.
Liaise with relevant parties to manage mortgage and lease renewals.
Assist with financial reporting, including preparing annual profit and loss statements for self-assessment and tax return purposes.
Support with a range of ad hoc technical and administrative tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you have:
Previous experience in property administration, management, or a similar role.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A commercial mindset with an understanding of market rental values.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good knowledge of database systems and Microsoft Office tools.
A basic understanding of financial statements and profit/loss accounts.
