The Role:
They are looking for a Property Manager to oversee a small portfolio of residential apartments, ensuring proactive management, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. This role is well-suited to someone with around a year's experience in property management who is eager to develop their career in a supportive environment. You will begin with a very manageable portfolio, receiving training and guidance from the outset to help you build confidence, learn the ropes, and progress within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Management
- Manage a portfolio of properties to a high standard, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and tenant satisfaction.
- Respond to tenant and landlord enquiries, resolving issues efficiently using approved contractors and internal teams.
- Conduct regular inspections, manage end-of-tenancy processes, and oversee deposit returns.
- Monitor rent collection, address arrears, and advise on legal or insurance actions when needed.
- Support tenancy renewals and coordinate seamless transitions during re-marketing.
Customer Service
- Build strong relationships with tenants and landlords through clear, responsive communication.
- Provide accurate, helpful information and handle all interactions in a professional, friendly manner.
- Aim to exceed expectations and contribute to a positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
Operational & Compliance
- Ensure all actions are logged accurately and systems are kept up to date.
- Follow internal processes and comply with relevant legal and safety standards.
- Register and offboard tenants on relevant portals and systems.
- Support reporting on team performance and KPIs.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 years' experience in residential property management. You will receive thorough training and be eased into the portfolio.
- Understanding of tenancy legislation and maintenance processes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Customer-focused and proactive in problem-solving.
