HMO Licensing Consultant

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented HMO Licensing Consultant to join our expanding team. This role ensures compliance across our HMO, Additional, and Selective licensing portfolio.
After an initial 3-4 week induction period in the office, you'll be able to work from home 2 days per week.
What You'll Be Doing
Audit lettings portfolio to identify properties requiring licensing
Manage compliance across all licensed properties, ensuring safety checks and certificates are current
Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and property management teams
Coordinate maintenance and remedial works to excellent standards
Navigate external platforms including Fixflo, Kamma, and Goodlord
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Understanding of property management principles
Experience with HMO licensing requirements (highly desirable)
Proficiency in at least 1-2 of: Fixflo, Kamma, Goodlord
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
Personal Qualities:
Tenacious and resilient with a positive 'can-do' attitude
Able to manage pressure and maintain focus during peak periods
Team player who's also effective working independently
