Senior Office Manager / Front of House

This multifaceted role offers a rare blend of front-of-house presence, operational leadership, and compliance coordination. It's ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a seamless office experience while ensuring the business runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play a key role in supporting both the team and clients, acting as a central point of coordination across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver a Professional First Impression
Acting as the first point of contact, you will greet clients and visitors with discretion and courtesy, manage incoming calls, coordinate meeting room usage, and ensure the reception area is consistently well-presented.
Oversee Daily Office Operations
You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office, including managing suppliers and contractors, liaising with IT providers, and ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and support the team's productivity.
Maintain Compliance and Business Standards
You will be responsible for managing key compliance processes, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks, as well as maintaining up-to-date records for regulatory memberships and insurance policies. You'll ensure documentation is audit-ready and internal processes align with industry requirements.
Support HR and Internal Processes
Working closely with leadership, you will assist with recruitment logistics, on boarding new team members, maintaining HR records, and coordinating with external HR and legal advisors as required. You will also contribute to performance management and employee well-being initiatives.
Provide Executive and Administrative Support
You will offer high-level administrative assistance to senior leadership, including diary management, travel arrangements, and the preparation of presentations, reports, and correspondence.
Contribute to Broader Business Activity
Your role will extend to supporting property and advisory teams with administrative tasks and compliance checks. You will also assist with marketing activity, such as updating website content, managing social media platforms, and preparing client-facing materials.
About You
Proven experience in an Office Manager, Operations, or Compliance/HR-focused role, ideally in property, professional services, or a boutique setting.
Familiarity with AML frameworks and HR processes.
Highly organised, detail-driven, and proactive in solving problems.
Confident, polished communicator, comfortable engaging with high-net-worth individuals.
