Sales Negotiator / Sales Associate
About The Role
We're seeking an ambitious Sales Negotiator to take full ownership of in-house residential sales for an established property developer operating in the Midlands. This is a brilliant opportunity to build and develop a strong buyer database, drive reservations and completions, and reduce reliance on external agents while cutting sales costs.
You'll be the face of a premium brand, managing the complete sales journey from initial enquiry through to exchange and completion.
The Package
- Base Salary: £27,000
- Commission: £300-£500 per sale (subject to confirmation)
- Start Date: Early November (within 3-4 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the buyer database, nurturing relationships with first-time buyers, investors, and local purchasers
- Conduct property viewings, handle customer enquiries, and negotiate offers confidently
- Progress sales through to exchange and completion, coordinating seamlessly with solicitors and external agents
- Support the marketing team with new launch promotions, open houses, and client events
- Liaise with third-party agents (domestic and international) to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver regular reporting to senior management
- Represent the brand professionally and consistently across all client interactions
The Working Environment
- Location: Birmingham City Centre office with travel to development sites
- Hours: 8:30am - 5:00/5:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Office-based
- Availability: Weekends typically closed, but Saturday viewings and events may be required as needed
Who We're Looking For
Experience:
- 2-4 years in property sales, new homes, or estate agency
- Proven track record of delivering results with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of sales progression, CRM systems, and client management

- Technically competent with Salesforce, Excel, and other business tools

The Team
You'll report to our Sales & Marketing Director and work closely with a compact, experienced team including the Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and Sales Coordinator. This isn't a corporate setting - it's a genuine team environment where everyone contributes directly to success.
