The company is growing rapidly, managing a portfolio of high-quality rental assets, and they're now looking for a confident Finance Assistant to take ownership of the day-to-day AP and AR functions while gaining exposure across wider finance operations.
What you'll be doing:
Managing the full purchase ledger process from coding and processing invoices to supplier reconciliations and payments
Handling sales ledger duties including raising invoices, reconciling accounts, and chasing payments where needed
Supporting month-end close with accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
Assisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash positions
Helping implement improved systems and processes as the business grows
Providing general support across the finance team, including ad hoc analysis and reporting
What you'll need:
Previous experience in a finance assistant, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role
Strong attention to detail and good Excel skills
A proactive, can-do approach - comfortable in a fast-moving, growing environment
Ideally studying AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (not essential)
An interest in property or the Build to Rent sector would be a plus
