Property Manager & Leasing Associate

Location: East London Type: Full-time, on-site

About My Client

My client is a global asset manager and operator of urban living communities across major creative capital cities in Europe and North America. Their mission is to create a better way to live in rental accommodation by delivering design-led, community-focused residences that meet the evolving needs of modern urban renters. Their buildings combine high-quality private living spaces with vibrant shared amenities, fostering connection, collaboration and a strong sense of belonging.

Residents are typically a diverse mix of professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs and tech-savvy individuals who value flexibility, community and thoughtfully designed living environments.

The Role

My client is seeking a Property Manager & Leasing Associate to support the pre-launch, launch and stabilisation of this flagship London development - a mixed-use co-living community combining residential, communal and commercial space. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a full building launch within a next-generation residential management business.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be involved across property management, leasing, marketing, front-of-house operations, resident experience, and community engagement.

  • Communicate property defects to the Development Team
  • Support resolution of resident maintenance requests
  • Communicate building updates and events via the resident app
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas
  • Support general building operations and deputise for the General Manager when required
  • Review night service logs and ensure follow-up actions are taken

Sales & Leasing

  • Assist with property listings, online marketing and social media activity
  • Manage daily leasing enquiries via HubSpot CRM, responding within 2 business hours
  • Handle enquiries from walk-ins, Rightmove, telephone and email
  • Conduct property tours, including evenings and weekends
  • Support application, referencing and move-in processes
  • Maintain accurate leasing files, reports and databases
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents
  • Support resident onboarding and move-outs

Health & Safety

  • Follow all health & safety policies and procedures
  • Carry out and record routine checks including fire alarms and emergency lighting
  • Maintain compliance records
  • Be fully conversant with emergency and evacuation procedures

Community Engagement & Resident Experience

  • Deliver a high level of customer service and resident satisfaction
  • Support the delivery of branded and resident-led community events
  • Assist with resident communications, feedback and satisfaction surveys
  • Promote resident engagement and community connections
  • Build relationships with local businesses to create resident offers and partnerships
  • Support organisation and attendance of monthly resident events

Marketing & Social Media

  • Create social media content from events and virtual viewings
  • Liaise with marketing teams to curate posts

Resident Relations

  • Assist with preparation of resident welcome packs
  • Act as a key point of contact within the building community
  • Build familiarity with residents and support community connections

Financial Support

  • Assist with tracking expenses and income
  • Use internal systems to support financial and booking processes

Skills & Experience

  • Must have property management experience
  • Interest in residential leasing, property management and community-building
  • Customer-focused with a positive, professional and approachable manner
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
  • Confident team player with a flexible attitude
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with the London rental market is advantageous
