We are supporting a well-capitalised, privately owned real estate and investment business in the search for an experienced Purchase Ledger Accountant to join the team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable owning the end-to-end purchase ledger process within a structured, professional finance function.

The role

• End-to-end ownership of the purchase ledger

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently

• Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution

• Preparing and processing payment runs

• Maintaining strong controls around approvals and coding

• Supporting month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations

• Working closely with the wider finance team and operational stakeholders

• Day-to-day use of Yardi as the core finance system

About you

• Proven experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role

• Practical, hands-on experience using Yardi is essential

• Comfortable working at pace with strong attention to detail

• Confident dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Well organised, reliable, and process-driven

• Real estate or investment exposure is advantageous but not essential

Package

• £45,000 salary - very competitive for a fixed-term contract
