Are you a hands-on, multi-skilled Maintenance Operative looking for a role with real variety and impact? Join one of the UK's leading providers of student accommodation and play a vital part in keeping our properties safe, efficient, and welcoming for thousands of residents.

This role will be based across a couple of local sites, giving you the chance to build close relationships with residents and colleagues while still enjoying variety in your day-to-day work.

The Role

You'll be the go-to problem solver, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and compliance checks across electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and mechanical systems (depending on your qualifications and experience). From fixing faults to supporting refurbishments and ensuring buildings meet the highest safety standards, you'll help create comfortable, well-maintained spaces where students can thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering repairs, installations, and general maintenance across different trades.
• Carrying out essential safety checks - from emergency lighting and fire door inspections to water hygiene.
• Accurately logging works, materials, and compliance records using digital tools.
• Supporting the launch of new or refurbished buildings.
• Working flexibly across the two sites, always with a customer-first approach.
• Building great relationships with residents and colleagues.

About You

• Experienced in multi-trade maintenance, ideally within residential or commercial settings.
• Confident with building services and compliance requirements.
• Comfortable using IT and digital reporting systems.
• A flexible, team-oriented approach with great customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license.
