Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in delivering high-profile built environment projects across the UK. You will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle - from inception to completion - ensuring clear communication, risks are managed, budgets are controlled, and outcomes exceed expectations. This role requires a hands-on approach, the confidence to lead design and delivery teams, and the ability to attend on-site progress meetings across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, coordination and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget
Manage project scope, work with design and delivery teams, and track milestones
Attend and facilitate site progress meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders
Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks and issues
Produce and maintain key project documentation, including schedules, reporting, cost tracking and risk registers
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
Ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record in project management, ideally within the built environment, construction or consulting sectors
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational capability and ability to prioritise competing demands
Experience managing project delivery through design and construction phases
Comfortable with frequent travel to attend site progress meetings throughout the UK
Desirable
Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or PMP
Experience in consulting or client-facing project management roles
Familiarity with project management tools and software
