Compliance Manager - Property Management
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Location: Fully office-based
We're looking for a proactive and organised Compliance Manager to join a busy property management team. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of compliance processes, and confidently manage day-to-day responsibilities across both residential and commercial properties.
You'll have full responsibility for the role, with support from senior management, and the freedom to shape and improve systems along the way.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all statutory compliance works, including:
Gas Safety Inspections (GSIs)
Electrical Safety Reports (EICRs)
EPCs
Fire Risk Assessments
Ensuring compliance documentation is issued to tenants and accurately recorded on internal systems
Managing HMO compliance, including registrations, remedial works, system updates and RRO requirements
Coordinating contractors and managing compliance timelines
Handling incoming calls and day-to-day enquiries
Carrying out residential property inspections
Managing commercial leases, inventories and keys
Overseeing commercial maintenance
Conducting commercial visits and inspections
Full key management and regular key audits
Greeting visitors including tenants, contractors and deliveries
Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience in a similar compliance or property management role
Strong working knowledge of fire safety regulations
Experience dealing with HMOs is highly desirable
Confident managing multiple compliance deadlines and contractor schedules
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the role
