Senior Technical Coordinator

I'm working exclusively with a well-established London residential developer to appoint a Senior Technical Coordinator.

The business has a strong track record delivering complex RC frame apartment developments across London and is known internally for promoting from within. They are selective, technical ability is a given, but cultural fit is equally important.

The project is currently moving from Stage 3 toward Gateway submission, with c.18 months of pre-construction remaining. This is an opportunity to be heavily involved in the pre-construction phase and Gateway process from an early stage.

As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will:

• Take ownership of construction packages (internal and/or external)
• Manage third-party consultants directly
• Chair consultant meetings confidently
• Drive coordination issues through to resolution
• Work closely with the Technical Manager while operating with autonomy
• Manager/Mentor the Technical Coordinator
• Contribute to Gateway preparation where relevant

This role is seen internally as a genuine stepping stone to Technical Manager level, typically within 12-18 months for the right individual.

Essential:

• RC frame apartment experience
• Background with a developer or main contractor (ideally 1-2+ years)
• Experience managing packages independently
• Comfortable chairing meetings and managing consultants directly

Advantageous:

• Gateway submission exposure

The distinction between Technical Coordinator and Senior Technical Coordinator here is not years served, it's about autonomy. Package

• Salary up to £75,000 plus travel paid.
• 15% bonus
• 25 days holiday (rising to 30 after 5 years)
