Property Assistant - Estates
Borehamwood | £30,000-£35,000 | Monday-Friday 9am-5pm | Office-Based
A well-established residential property business is looking for a Property Assistant to join its Estates & Operations team.
This is a permanent role within a stable, growing company managing a large UK residential portfolio. You'll support compliance, managing agent oversight and estate administration, working closely with an experienced Director who values structure and high standards.
This role would suit someone with 1-2 years' block management or managing agent experience who wants broader exposure and genuine responsibility.

What you'll be doing:
Working alongside the Estate Manager and Director, you will:
Track statutory and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
Maintain accurate leasehold and estate records.
Monitor complaint processes and follow up on outstanding actions.
Liaise with managing agents and chase reports.
Prepare and issue correspondence and documentation.
Support leasehold consents and certificates.
Update internal trackers and KPIs.
Maintain accurate data using a bespoke property management system.
This is a structured, process-driven role: ideal for someone organised, methodical and confident handling volume.
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Property Assistant, Block Administrator or similar.
Experience working within a managing agent or block management environment.
Good understanding of leasehold estates and compliance basics.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Excel and Outlook).
Able to prioritise workload independently.
