The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to support live construction and development projects across multiple sectors.
This role is ideal for an ambitious early-career project professional looking to develop within a consultancy setting, gain exposure to diverse schemes, and work closely with experienced senior leaders who will actively support your progression.
You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle - not just one phase - building practical experience and commercial awareness in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Coordination
Support projects from inception through to completion
Assist with programme, cost, risk and change management
Coordinate consultants, designers and contractors
Attend and contribute to project and site meetings
Client & Stakeholder Management
Support day-to-day client communications
Assist in preparing progress reports and presentations
Act as a key coordination point for project stakeholders
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare briefs, programmes, reports and risk registers
Track actions, milestones and deliverables
Support procurement and tender processes
Construction Phase Support
Monitor site progress, quality and programme
Assist with change control and variations
Support handover and project close-out
About You
Essential:
Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar
1-4 years' experience in construction, property or project delivery
Understanding of construction stages and processes
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Desirable:
Consultancy or client-side experience
Exposure to commercial, industrial, logistics or fit-out projects
Working towards APM, RICS or PRINCE2
Experience with programmes, cost tracking or risk management
