This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of new store openings and refurbishment programmes - leading projects from early feasibility and concept design through to construction and successful handover. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy driving quality, programme and commercial performance, this role offers real impact and autonomy.
The Role
You will manage multiple fit-out and construction projects across Greater London and the wider UK, ensuring each scheme aligns with brand standards, client objectives and commercial targets.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full project lifecycle - scope, programme, budget, risk and delivery
Leading new site launches and refurbishment roll-outs
Overseeing scheduling, progress tracking and reporting
Chairing site meetings and maintaining accurate cost and programme updates
Undertaking feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost planning
Driving value engineering initiatives without compromising quality
Negotiating contracts and commercial terms
Ensuring full compliance with UK Building Regulations, CDM 2015 and H&S legislation
Managing consultants and contractors to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery
Building strong client and stakeholder relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You
You will bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering multi-site construction projects
A background in retail, hospitality, leisure or QSR fit-out
Strong technical knowledge of M&E, FF&E and construction methodologies
Commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and cost control expertise
Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and H&S compliance
The ability to manage multiple live projects at pace
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally
Desirable
Experience working client-side and/or contractor-side
Professional accreditation (RICS, MCIOB, APM, PRINCE2 or similar)
Exposure to sustainable construction or digital tools such as BIM or Procore
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team where you'll play a key role in delivering high-profile, brand-critical projects across the UK.
