Business Development Director (UK Market Entry)

About the Opportunity
An internationally established digital media and technology platform is launching its UK operations, with London as the initial market focus. The business has built a large-scale network embedded within residential and commercial buildings across multiple global markets and is now entering its next phase of international expansion.
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead early commercial activity in the UK. This is a senior, strategic role responsible for establishing key property partnerships, developing the UK market pipeline and helping shape the long-term growth of the platform.
This position offers a rare opportunity to join at the founding stage of a UK launch, working closely with senior international leadership and playing a central role in building the local platform.
Key Responsibilities
Originate and secure portfolio-level partnerships with residential and commercial property owners.
Develop strong relationships with developers, asset managers, landlords and institutional investors.
Lead commercial negotiations and structure long-term partnership agreements.
Establish and manage the UK revenue pipeline and partnership strategy.
Support the development of the UK go-to-market approach.
Act as a key representative for the business within the UK property and real estate ecosystem.
Contribute to the future build-out of the UK team as the platform scales.
Candidate Profile
10+ years' experience within UK real estate, property partnerships, development, asset management or a closely related sector.
Strong network across landlords, developers, institutional investors or asset owners.
Demonstrated ability to originate and close strategic commercial partnerships.
Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, early-stage market environment.
Strong commercial judgement and negotiation capability.
Experience within media, digital infrastructure, property technology or similar sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
