We're working with a highly respected, independent project and cost management consultancy delivering complex, high-quality schemes across the UK. Known for its director-led approach and strong client relationships, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering projects from inception through to completion.

The Opportunity

This is a key hire within a growing consultancy, offering genuine progression to Director level. You'll play a pivotal role in leading projects, developing client relationships, and helping shape the future of the business.

A major focus of this role will be within the Industrial & Logistics sector, supporting the delivery of large-scale warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing developments. With continued growth in this space, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-value, fast-paced schemes for leading developers, investors, and occupiers-often involving complex site logistics, phased delivery, and tight programme requirements.

This is a client-facing, hands-on role with a strong presence across project sites and within the Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across multiple projects from feasibility to final account
• Take a leading role on Industrial & Logistics schemes, including large distribution centres and multi-unit developments
• Provide strategic commercial advice on cost planning, procurement, and value engineering within fast-moving industrial projects
• Act as the key client interface, building long-term relationships
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Contribute to business development, particularly within the Industrial & Logistics sector
• Support leadership in shaping project delivery and best practice

About You

• MRICS qualified (or working towards)
• Strong consultancy background in quantity surveying / cost management
• Proven experience delivering projects within the Industrial & Logistics sector (warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or similar)
• Strong understanding of cost drivers specific to industrial developments (e.g. groundworks, steel frames, cladding systems, and infrastructure)
• Commercially astute with excellent client-facing skills
• Ambitious, with a desire to step into a leadership role
