Compliance & Standards Manager
Location: Head Office (4 days in office, 1 day flexible)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance & Standards Manager to support the continued strengthening of operational compliance across the our clients Agency Offices.
This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of the business, combining compliance, training, and operational support. You'll play a key role in ensuring the network operates to the highest standards while remaining commercially effective.
The Role
Working closely with the Compliance & Standards Lead, you will support all offices, delivering compliance guidance, training, and audit support across the full lettings lifecycle.
This role goes beyond policy - it's about bringing compliance to life across the network.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering operational compliance and implementing legislative updates (including evolving areas such as renters' reform)
Supporting and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures across the network
Acting as a trusted day-to-day compliance contact for offices
Delivering hands-on training to offices, building confidence and capability across teams
Supporting and conducting audits, ensuring consistent standards are upheld
Managing document control and governance processes
Supporting AML compliance and best practice across the business
Working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, and operations teams
Encouraging the responsible use of digital and AI-enabled tools to improve compliance processes
About You
We are looking for a proactive, confident individual with strong lettings experience who understands the full property lifecycle.
What's essential is your practical understanding of lettings and your ability to apply common sense in a compliance environment.
You will bring:
Strong experience in lettings (essential) with a solid understanding of the full tenancy lifecycle
Knowledge of compliance requirements including AML
Confidence delivering training and working directly with stakeholders
A proactive, self-starting attitude
Strong organisational and document management skills
A commercial, pragmatic approach to compliance
Assertiveness balanced with diplomacy and strong relationship-building skills
Ideally experience with property systems such as Reapit (not essential)
