Maintenance Coordinator
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Fully office-based



Overview
Our client are a busy and growing property management company seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for managing maintenance across a large residential portfolio, ensuring issues are handled efficiently and to a high standard.
You will be a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal teams-keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring excellent service delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls and maintenance queries from tenants
  • Coordinating and managing all maintenance jobs across a portfolio of approximately 400 properties
  • Scheduling and overseeing the daily workload of maintenance contractors
  • Booking and managing maintenance works for new tenant move-ins
  • Liaising with tenants to provide updates and resolve issues promptly
  • Obtaining and reviewing quotes for works and ordering required materials
  • Processing and managing invoices related to maintenance works
  • Conducting and coordinating property inspections where required
  • Managing administrative tasks such as meter readings and CCTV-related queries
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
  • Acting as the first point of contact for complaints and resolving them professionally
  • Providing cover for other Maintenance Coordinators during periods of absence


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a property management or maintenance coordination role preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident handling a high volume of calls and queries
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
