We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a large, high-profile purpose-built student accommodation site in Norwich.
This is a full-time, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys being actively involved on site, is comfortable getting stuck in, and takes real ownership of the resident experience. You'll be a visible, hands-on presence across the building, not just behind the desk.
It is a varied front-of-house position combining customer service, administration, sales support and active site engagement within a busy residential environment.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional front-of-house reception service
- Welcoming and assisting residents, visitors, partners and contractors
- Being an active on-site presence, engaging with residents throughout the building
- Handling day-to-day resident enquiries, requests and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Assisting with viewings, promoting services and products, and supporting occupancy and sales targets
- Managing parcel deliveries and general reception administration
- Completing incident logs and other administrative tasks accurately
- Identifying hazards, resolving risks and responding appropriately to alarm activations
- Dealing with incidents as they arise and liaising with emergency services where required
- Carrying out room inspections, welfare checks and door knocks as required
- Supporting compliance, health & safety and operational checks across the site
- Ensuring reception areas, communal lounges, lift lobbies and hallways are kept clean, tidy and presentable
- Working closely with site management, maintenance and operational teams
- Taking a flexible, proactive and hands-on approach to ad-hoc tasks in a live residential environment
- With training and support, conducting show suite viewings when required
About You
- Experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, residential or front-of-house role
- A passion for people and exceeding customer expectations
- Confident, calm and professional in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well presented, articulate and able to represent the brand on-site
- Proactive, organised and willing to get involved wherever needed
- Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail
- A team player with an empathetic and understanding approach
