About the opportunity
This role sits within a well-capitalised, privately owned real estate platform investing in, developing and operating high-quality assets across the UK. The business takes a hands-on, asset-by-asset approach and retains full control from acquisition through to operation, creating long-term value through disciplined execution.
The senior finance manager will play a central role in leading financial accounting, reporting, controls and treasury across a diverse group structure, supporting ongoing growth and new investment activity.

The role combines technical depth with commercial exposure, offering influence across the business rather than operating as a back-office function.
Key responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and review management accounts across all group entities
- Oversee statutory accounts and audit processes, coordinating with external advisors
- Maintain strong financial controls across a multi-entity SPV structure
- Manage AP, AR, payroll journals and expense processes
- Oversee treasury activity, intercompany movements and lender reporting
- Monitor covenant compliance and support funding drawdowns
- Support transaction accounting, new SPV set-up and post-deal integration
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years PQE
- Significant post-qualification experience in industry
- Strong background in group or multi-entity accounting
- Experience within real estate, property investment or development
- Proven ability to manage and develop a small finance team
- Strong technical accounting and controls knowledge
- Clear communicator with the confidence to challenge constructively
