What does a Sales Director do in the property and real estate industry?

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales operations and driving the organisation’s revenue growth. This includes setting targets, developing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and introducing new initiatives to increase customer acquisition and retention. To achieve long-term success in this role, the Sales Director must be able to formulate plans that will maximise profits while managing risks effectively.

Sales Directors must be able to anticipate customer needs, develop innovative solutions, and have the ability to articulate their vision in a way that resonates with team members and stakeholders. Consequently, having the capacity for problem-solving and analytical thinking is fundamental to this position.

You will also be expected to have an in-depth understanding of the sales process, from the initial contact with customers to closing deals and building long-term relationships. Strong persuasive skills, negotiation capabilities, and financial acumen are all essential for this role.
