Around 300 units, institutionally backed, and at an exciting stage in its lifecycle - this is the kind of role where you can really make your mark.</p><p>If you're a delivery-focused development professional who knows the London BTR market and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment, we'd love to hear from you.</p><p> </p><h2>The Role</h2><p> </p><p>Reporting to the Development Director, you'll have end-to-end responsibility for managing this sizeable residential scheme - from pre-construction through to practical completion and stabilisation. Day to day, you'll be managing consultants and contractors, keeping a tight grip on programme and budget, and acting as the key point of contact for investors and stakeholders.</p><p>This is a broad, hands-on role that covers everything from planning and statutory compliance to financial management, ESG delivery, and handover - so you'll need to be comfortable moving across all aspects of the development process.</p><p> </p><h2>What You'll Be Doing</h2><p> </p><ul><li>Leading day-to-day delivery of a large-scale BTR residential scheme from planning through practical completion</li><li>Managing a multidisciplinary consultant team and coordinating with the main contractor</li><li>Overseeing design development with a focus on BTR operational requirements and resident experience</li><li>Monitoring programme, cost, and risk, with regular reporting to senior stakeholders and investors</li><li>Managing planning obligations and liaising with statutory and local authorities</li><li>Supporting financial modelling, appraisals, cashflow forecasting, and funding drawdowns</li><li>Driving ESG and sustainability commitments through the design and delivery process</li><li>Overseeing handover to operations, snagging, and the stabilisation period</li><li>Managing final account negotiations and project close-out</li></ul><p> </p><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><p> </p><ul><li>Solid experience in UK residential development, ideally with a London focus</li><li>Track record of delivering mid- to large-scale residential schemes</li><li>Familiarity with BTR or institutionally funded residential projects</li><li>Good working knowledge of the London planning framework</li><li>Strong commercial acumen and cost control capability</li><li>Confident managing consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders</li><li>Knowledge of JCT contracts and development funding structures</li><li>MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent qualification is a bonus, but not essential</li></ul><p> </p><h2>The Package </h2><p>A competitive salary is on offer, commensurate with experience, alongside a pension scheme and private healthcare. Development Manager - BTR Development 

<p ><strong>The Role</strong></p><p >You'll work closely with field operatives, contractors, and internal teams to keep maintenance operations running smoothly. Day-to-day focus is on coordinating repairs, managing unit churns, and ensuring properties are ready for occupancy.
