Celebrating International Women's Day

International Women's Day is a time to reflect on the progress made towards gender equality and to celebrate the achievements of women in all fields.

In the property industry, a traditionally male-dominated space, there's a growing recognition of the importance of diversity and inclusion.

Embracing women in all facets of the property sector, from leadership positions to construction sites, not only empowers individuals but also enriches our industry with diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.

Through mentorship programmes, networking initiatives and fostering supportive environments, we can break down barriers and ensure that women have equal opportunities to thrive and lead within the property industry.

To celebrate International Women’s Day this year, we invited Sarah Hayford - Founder and CEO of The Land Collective and Debra Yudolph - Partner at SAY Property Consulting LLP to speak at an internal event to give us insight into their journeys within the property industry.

They both speak about the above and how through mentoring, networking and supporting women around them, they have built successful businesses within the property space. They shared the experiences they have had at times when they have felt discluded within the workplace, how they overcame those barriers and how they have inspired inclusion within their businesses.

Watch the full video below to hear their journeys.
